Carols of Midland – Sewing into the Future
Michelle Warren prides herself on classic and stylish presentation. It’s an aim she easily achieves with the magnificent examples of quilting, fanciful cushions and inspiring embroidery displayed at her business, Carol’s of Midland, located at 47 Farrall Road Midvale, Western Australia.
The shop features 400 square metres of colour and design with bolts of fabrics and trims on all sides, beautifully displayed in coordinated patterns and colours. A large range of haberdashery, patterns and books.
Michelle believes the future of sewing is exciting, thanks to the creative possibilities presented by computer technology and the Internet.
“Australia is a land of vast open spaces which once led to isolation – not so today. With the Internet and email, you can chat to anyone around the world” – comments Michelle.
